In order to apply for a credit card you must be a Discovery Health, Discovery Life or Vitality member, be over 18 and a South African citizen or permanent resident or be in possession of a valid work permit.
You can visit the Discovery website and leave them your contact details if you are not a Discovery member and apply online if you are.
Discovery Platinum, Gold and Blue
In order to apply for the Discovery Gold card, you must earn a minimum of R80 000 per annum and R350 000 per annum for the Discovery Platinum credit card. Both cards allow you to get a DiscoveryMotor card which allows you to pay for fuel, tolls and other motor vehicle-related expenses.
